Zuso is a cooking platform designed to simplify the entire home cooking experience, from discovering recipes to preparing meals in real time.

The product combines a custom tablet, connected devices such as a temperature probe and scale, and a digital interface into a single ecosystem, enabling a more precise, structured, and guided way to cook at home.

Context and problem

Cooking at home often involves a fragmented experience, discovering recipes, planning meals, managing ingredients, and executing each step across different tools and devices.

This lack of integration creates friction, increases cognitive load, and makes the process less efficient, especially for people who cook frequently.

Zuso was designed to bring all these steps into a single, connected experience.

Solution

Zuso brings all stages of the cooking journey into a single, integrated platform, allowing users to discover recipes, plan meals, manage ingredients, and cook with real-time guidance.

By combining a structured interface with connected devices, the product transforms cooking into a more controlled, intuitive, and efficient experience.

The home experience is designed to help users quickly decide what to cook, presenting curated recipes in a clear and visually engaging way.

Instead of overwhelming the user with options, the interface highlights relevant content, making the decision process faster and more intuitive.

The experience goes beyond traditional digital cookbooks. Zuso offers guided recipes with short, contextual videos, smart tools like timers and temperature guidance, and hands-free voice commands that allow users to navigate steps without touching the screen.

The interface is intentionally minimal and distraction-free, supporting cooks in real kitchen environments where attention, cleanliness, and timing are critical.

From a product and UX perspective, the project focused on clarity, approachability, and trust. Every interaction was designed to feel supportive rather than intrusive, helping users cook confidently whether they are beginners or experienced home cooks.

Zuso aims to turn cooking into a more fluid, enjoyable ritual, where technology quietly adapts to the user, instead of demanding their attention.

The weekly planner acts as the central layer of the experience, allowing users to organize their meals across the week in a clear and flexible way.

By structuring recipes into a timeline, the platform helps users move from discovery to execution, making meal planning a natural part of the cooking process.

The cooking experience transforms recipes into a guided, step-by-step flow, combining video, instructions, and real-time context into a single interface.

Instead of requiring users to interpret static content, the platform provides continuous guidance, reducing cognitive load and allowing them to focus on the cooking process.
