Zuso is a hybrid cooking experience that blends physical and digital interaction to make everyday cooking simpler, calmer, and more intuitive. Developed in partnership with Reino Studio, Zuso was designed as a connected ecosystem that combines a tablet-based app with physical components to guide users through recipes step by step, reducing friction and keeping focus where it matters: the food.
The experience goes beyond traditional digital cookbooks. Zuso offers guided recipes with short, contextual videos, smart tools like timers and temperature guidance, and hands-free voice commands that allow users to navigate steps without touching the screen. The interface is intentionally minimal and distraction-free, supporting cooks in real kitchen environments where attention, cleanliness, and timing are critical.
From a product and UX perspective, the project focused on clarity, approachability, and trust. Every interaction was designed to feel supportive rather than intrusive, helping users cook confidently whether they are beginners or experienced home cooks. Zuso aims to turn cooking into a more fluid, enjoyable ritual—where technology quietly adapts to the user, instead of demanding their attention.
